KITABCHA

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Kitabcha handles information when you use our website and apps.

Last updated:

Information we collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account, using your notebook or contacting us. This may include contact and profile details, ledger records, attachments, subscription and referral information, and payment or payout details. We also collect limited technical and usage information needed to operate and protect the service.

Optional information is provided at your discretion. When you add information about other people, make sure you have permission or another valid basis to use it.

How we use information

We use information to provide and maintain Kitabcha, manage accounts and subscriptions, store records and make them available across your devices, process rewards and payouts, respond to support requests, improve reliability and prevent misuse. We also use information where necessary to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.

Where a legal basis is required, processing is based on providing the requested service, legitimate operational and security interests, legal obligations, or consent where appropriate. We do not sell personal information or use notebook records for advertising.

Cloud storage and device data

Your saved business records are stored on our cloud servers. An internet connection is required to sign in, load current information and save changes. Previously loaded pages may be stored on your device for read-only viewing when you are offline. Kitabcha does not support creating or synchronizing business changes offline.

We use necessary cookies, local storage and similar technologies for sign-in, preferences, unfinished bill drafts and previously loaded pages. Clearing app or browser storage can remove drafts and local page copies, but does not delete records already saved to your account. You can download a copy of your business data from Settings.

Access and sharing

Information may be processed by authorized personnel and service providers where needed for service administration, support, hosting, communications, payments and security. Relevant information may also be disclosed to meet legal requirements, protect rights or support a business transfer with appropriate safeguards. Service providers may process information outside your country.

Features such as referrals, reports and sharing may use relevant account information to deliver the feature. When you choose to share content or use an external messaging or payment service, that service handles the information under its own policies.

Protecting information

We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect information and restrict access to authorized purposes. No service can guarantee complete security. Keep your device and sign-in details secure, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes and protect the service. Some security, payment or administrative records may be retained after account deletion. Copies may remain in restricted recovery backups or in files you or other recipients have saved.

Your choices and requests

You can review and update information through available app features, export records and manage optional device permissions. To request access, correction or account deletion, or to raise a privacy concern, email info@kitabcha.app. We may verify your identity before processing a request.

Additional privacy rights may apply under local law. We assess requests under the rules that apply and explain any limits on a request. You may contact the relevant privacy authority where applicable.
